Join the austin amft board

Have you ever thought about becoming an Austin AMFT Board Member? Elections are coming up in October, and we're accepting nominations now!

Our current chairs are ready to pass on their responsibilities to someone new. By being a part of the board, you can have a direct influence on the direction of the Austin AMFT organization and help to keep it thriving. You will receive free membership, CEUs, and programming as a "thank you" for your time. Please consider stepping forward. Current position holders are happy to talk to you about their responsibilities and the time commitment involved.

We would love for our board to reflect the diversity of our community. BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ colleagues are welcomed and encouraged to join!

You do not have to be a LMFT to join. Therapists of various licensures are encouraged to be a part of our board.

The following Austin AMFT Board positions are open for Fall 2023 elections and will begin in the 2024 term:

President-Elect

Public Relations Director

 Elections & Engagement

Member-at-Large
