    • Location: Casa de Luz | 1701 Toomey Rd, Austin, TX 78704
    • Parking: You may utilize the pay-to-park lot across the street.
    • Room: Please make your way to the "Synergy Room" for the event.
    • Lunch: Note that your registration does not include lunch. You are welcome to arrive early to purchase food or beverages at the venue. Casa de Luz serves cafeteria-style lunch, as well as a selection of coffee and juices.

      This presentation will cover both strengths and challenges to providing couples and family counseling to different age demographics.

        BIOGRAPHY

        Whitney Humphrey is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Board Approved Supervisor. She has maintained a private practice in Austin since 2012. Whitney graduated with her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision in 2017 from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Her dissertation focused on predictors of gerontological counselor competencies inspired by her many years of work with the aging population in nursing and memory care facilities. She is also an adjunct professor at Texas State University teaching in areas of theories and practicum/internship for Master’s Level Graduate students.



        This presentation is designed to be useful for all levels of training and experience.
