    • Must have graduated or be within the final 2 semesters of your graduate program (already involved in your practicum/internship)

    LMFT & LPC Supervision Meet & Greet

    Austin AMFT welcomes you to join us for a Meet & Greet event to help LMFT Associates, LPC Interns, & students to connect with potential supervisors!



    Who:      LPC & LMFT Supervisors + Counseling Interns/Students

    When:    Saturday, February 15, 2020 | 10:30am -12:30pm

                    (Please arrive 15 minutes prior to start time to sign in)

    Where:   The Austin Center for Grief & Loss

                    2413 Greenlawn Parkway

                    Austin, TX 78757


    Fee:        Interns/Students | FREE

                    Supervisors | $15 for AAMFT Members & $30 for Non-members

    Event Schedule

    10:15am - 10:30am    Arrival, sign-in, & refreshments

    10:30am - 10:45am    Brief introductions of supervisors 

    10:45am - 12:30pm    "Speed-Dating” Rounds (7-8 min to talk with each supervisor)

    Light drinks and refreshments will be provided


    Supervisees will receive the following info for each supervisor prior to the event:

    1. What is your orientation/approach to therapy?

    2. What client populations or issues do you specialize in?

    3. What style do you use in supervision? Group vs individual?

    4. What are your expectations of interns/associates?

    5. What unique qualities do you bring into your supervision?

    6. How long have you been in practice? Supervising?

    7. Which license[s] do you supervise? Are you dual licensed?

    8. How much do you charge per session or per week/month? Does that include emergency consultations?
