    LMFT & LPC Supervisor Meet & Greet

    Interns, Associates and Students are WELCOME

    The Austin AMFT Organization welcomes you to join us for a meet and greet event to help LMFT-Associates and & LPC-Interns (students welcome as well!) connect with potential supervisors!

    Who:     LPC & LMFT Supervisors and counseling students/interns

    What:    Supervision Meet & Greet

    When:   Saturday June 16, 2018 from 10:30am-12:30pm

    Where:  The Austin Center for Grief & Loss

                  2413 Greenlawn Parkway

                  Austin, TX 78757

    EVENT SCHEDULE

    10:30am-10:45am    Arrival, sign-in, refreshments

    10:45am-11:30am    Brief presentation about supervisory & internship                                              requirements for LPC-Interns & LMFT-Associates; Brief                                             introductions of supervisors 

    11:30am-12:30pm    "Speed-Dating” Rounds (5-7 min to talk with each                                               supervisor)

    This event is FREE to attend for students, interns, and supervisors. 

    Please note: Supervisors need to answer the questions below to complete your online registration.  

    Light drinks and refreshments will be provided. 

    Students/Interns, you will receive a sheet of information regarding each supervisor in attendance and the following information:

    1.   What is your orientation/approach to therapy?

    2.   What style do you use in supervision? Group vs Individual?

    3.   What are your expectations of interns/associates?

    4.   What unique qualities do you bring into your supervision?

    5.   How long have you been in practice? Supervising?

    6.   Which license[s] do you supervise for? Are you dual licensed?

    7.   How much do you charge per session or per week/month? Does that include emergency consultations?
