Clinically trained through a COAMFT Master's Degree program in New England. 20 years experience as a LMFT. I am passionate about working with adults especially couples and their communication and conflict resolution skills. I see Individual adults, couples and families. I make sessions very interactive by stopping communication patterns right in the moment. I see human behavior as predictable in families. Homework assignments I call experiments in changing behaviors patterns. I firmly believe changing just you is the most powerful change a client can achieve.
I have extensive training in the chemical dependency field having worked with inpatient and outpatient clients providing family therapy. I have experience working on a locked psychiatric adult unit.
I have been in private practice since 2004.
